welcome to
rockford network!

The Rockford Network of Professional Women (RNPW) brings together local women who have reached the highest levels of business, the arts, the professions, government and academia. RNPW members are women who make a difference every day—through leadership, through influence, through philanthropy.

At monthly meetings, members of the Rockford Network of Professional Women come together to connect with, learn from and support one another. An hour later, we emerge energized and inspired to move forward in our individual career aspirations and community volunteer projects.

In 1981, four prominent Rockford women—Dr. Mildred Berry, Marcella Harris, Barbara Chapman, and Jeanine Wortmann—met to discuss how local professional women could join forces in support of one another. From that meeting, RNPW evolved to today’s group of dynamic women from diverse occupations at varying stages of our careers— from women fresh out of college to those enjoying retirement while remaining connected.
